Opalanga P. – Storyteller Share

Opalanga Shared Stories of Hope at the OA ConventionOpalanga P. was a nationally prominent storyteller well versed in the African art of storytelling. She traveled the world telling stories yet some of the most personal stories she told were those she shared in OA meeting rooms as a longtime member of the OA community in Denver.

Opalanga was taken too early by bone cancer in 2010 but she left an incredible legacy of experience, strength and hope which is no more apparent then in this presentation recorded at the 2007 Colorado State Convention.

Stories like this and OA storytellers like Opalanga are one of the reasons to attend OA retreats and conventions. Don’t miss the 2011 Colorado State OA Convention and Region 3 Assembly taking place October 7-9, 2011.
