Thank You for Making a Difference

OA Volunteers carry the message to 9HealthFair participants

From the Editor…

A huge thank you to all the OA volunteers who helped carry the message of recovery to compulsive eaters at this year’s 9HealthFairs. We do make a difference!

Hello everyone,

This is the first time I’ve received anything like this. Thought I’d share it to show how what we do can make a difference! Its nice receiving confirmation from an outside source. I believe the “thanks,” should be addressed to all of us, who have made the effort to participate. We are doing our part in carrying the message.

Hugs, Amyk

Dear Amy,

Thanks for much for Overeater’s Anonymous’s participation in our fair. You are a great volunteer! Your warmth and enthusiasm help sell your message.

Our numbers were down this year, as I guess they were at all of the 9Health fairs. We had 375 on Monday, and 425 on Tuesday. There were probably a few more who chose to have screenings, but not the blood draw. I’m sure there will be an evaluation as to why this was so.

I will be asking you to join us again next year. The invitation letters go out in February, and I’m hoping you will be with us.

The 9Health Fairs truly touch lives in so many ways. Your participation makes an important difference.

Again, many thanks,

Bobbie Knorr
