With the contract agreed on and signed, we are moving towards our 12-week website revamp development launch. We have already picked out a new CCI OADenver.org logo. Soon, we will pick our website layout. Then, the narrow screen mobile site will be built– focused on fast mobile device loading, then add-ons are loaded to the new main website with all the “bells and whistles” our heart desires in a wide screen friendly format.
Last month another Intergroup reached out to OADenver.org. We advised them of our new website template coming, and that we are willing to share the template with other intergroups at no cost-they get the template and just need to pay for their own customizations and maintenance contract with whatever web designer or website support system they desire. They will NOT have to bear the cost of the template development that Denver paved the way on. What a gift to share technology with other OA groups to spread the message of recovery world wide and especially to the electronic generation!
CCI Publications/Technology is also looking forward to adding text message updates in the future, as a communication option. We will also replace our older mp3 recorders and to purchase a 1 room sound system for our larger speaking events.
If you haven’t ever subscribed to the OADenver calendar, you should now! We plan to add all the Central Colorado meetings to our Events Calendar. So you can have your personal electronic calendar (yes, it works for all formats), your sports team, your school, and your favorite….OADenver on your electronic calendars and phones. This technology is not new, it was added by Tom Gray, our former genius web designer. We are just now catching up with this smarto! Thank you for your amazing service!
