Looking for a face-to-face meeting in the Denver area?

Be part of the decision whether to transition a phone meeting to face to face Sept. 28 at noon.

The Monday noon meeting at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church in Lakewood has offered OA the opportunity to use their fellowship hall for in-person meetings. The fellowship hall is a large room on the lower floor of the church with a capacity of about 50 people and a very good ventilation system. Since the normal attendance during pre-COVID times averaged 12 to 14 people, there would be plenty of room for social distancing.

The upcoming group conscience to discuss this opportunity is slated to occur on Monday, Sept. 28 at noon. If you are interested in joining the meeting that will discuss whether we would like to take advantage of going back to face to face, and to clarify the church’s requirements for our use of the space, please call in to the meeting at noon on Monday, Sept, 28. The call-in number is 605-472-5623, access code 323436#.

The meeting plans on hosting an abbreviated format. The focus of sharing will be on the first paragraph of tradition two, “The newcomer may ask, ‘Who is the head of OA?’ and be puzzled by  the answer in tradition two: a loving God as expressed in the group conscience.” If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Carrie G. at 720-339-0346.
